The instruction and the information provided are, and are intended to be, educational in nature, providing information, instruction, support and encouragement. Rachel Johnson and Tanya Smith are certified hypnotists and do not hold themselves out to provide any form of health care or psychotherapy.
Services rendered are held out to the public as nontherapeutic hypnotism, defined as the use of hypnosis to inculcate positive thinking and the capacity for self hypnosis. The practitioners at Healing Hypnosis do not represent their services as any form of medical, behavioral or mental health care, and despite research to the contrary, by law they may make no health benefit claims for their services.
By booking an appointment you are indicating that you certify that the medical information you have provided is accurate and that you do not have any medical or physical conditions which would impair or affect your ability to engage in Breathwork, hypnosis and/or Reiki. Additionally, booking an appointment demonstrates your willingness to be guided through relaxation, visual imagery, creative visualization, hypnosis, Reiki and/or Breathwork and stress-reduction processes for the purpose of vocational or avocational self-improvement. Agreeing to participate in any of the services offered indicates you understand that the assistance you will receive is not a substitute for normal medical care and you are advised to discuss this session with any doctor who is taking care of you now or in the future. Additionally, clients should continue any present medical treatment and consult their regular medical doctor for treatment of any new or old illnesses.
Further you aware that certain activities you may engage in during your session may be physically, emotionally and/or mentally stressful. Among other processes, Breathwork will include breathing that is faster and deeper than normal over a prolonged period which can cause dizziness, palpitations, tingling/numbness of the extremities, carpopedal spasms [involuntary contractions of the muscles of the hands and feet], tetany, ringing/roaring in the ears, clouded/distorted vision, perceptual distortions, and feelings of lightness, astonishment and/or euphoria. Physical Activities can also include violent twisting and turning while prostrate and other exertions you may not normally engage in. Loud music is also used with the Breathwork.
You agree to assume full responsibility for your own physical, emotional and mental health and hold the practitioners at the Healing Hypnosis Center harmless from any physical, emotional and/or mental impairment that may be attributed to the session or any participation therein.
Further you hold Rachel Johnson and Tanya Smith harmless from any and all loss, liability, injury, damage or cost which may arise out of or in connection with participation in sessions with them.
